Job summary

Vericast is seeking a Process Quality Technician to join the 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support the quality group and production teams, performing audits, tests, and root-cause analysis to resolve PQ issues.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong computer skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while collaborating with Account Managers and Team Leaders to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have good typing skills.
• Experience with Harland Clarke processes and procedures.
• Willingness to train with a desire to increase knowledge of quality duties.
• Strong technical and computer knowledge.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Perform Print, Bindery, Packaging, & Mailroom audits and inspections as outlined in training materials.
• Inspect problem runs and perform equipment quality tests, such as motion quality, signal strength, and MICR sampling.
• Evaluate and count spoilage.
• Support production teams on quality questions.
• Produce and process samples for QCS.
• Conduct research and root cause analysis.
• Attend daily Team Business Meetings (huddles) as the quality resource.
• Research and identify late work.
• Run ready to sort reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
