Job summary

Vericast is seeking a Process Quality Technician to join the 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support the quality group and production teams, performing audits, tests, and root-cause analysis to resolve PQ issues.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong computer skills, and the ability to handle confidential information while collaborating with Account Managers and Team Leaders to drive quality improvements.

• Willingness to train with a desire to increase knowledge of quality duties.
• Strong technical and computer knowledge.

• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Perform Print, Bindery, Packaging, & Mailroom audits and inspections as outlined in training materials.
• Inspect problem runs and perform equipment quality tests, such as motion quality, signal strength, and MICR sampling.
• Evaluate and count spoilage.
• Support production teams on quality questions.
• Produce and process samples for QCS.
• Conduct research and root cause analysis.
• Attend daily Team Business Meetings (huddles) as the quality resource.
• Research and identify late work.
• Run ready to sort reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Process Quality Technician to join the team on 3rd shift ! As a Process Quality Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the quality group & the teams in the production environment along with using troubleshooting techniques to solve PQ related issues.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Required to perform Print, Bindery, Packaging, & Mailroom audits and inspections as outlined in training materials.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to effectively communicate with QCS, Account Managers, and Priority One Managers. Frequently interacts with employees on the work team by sharing information both out on the floor and in Team Business Meetings.

DECISION MAKING

• Ability to make fact based decisions with shift Team Leader.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Include bending, walking, standing and kneeling 8-10 hours a day and lifting up to 20 lbs on occasion.

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00/hr and up DOE, plus $1.75/hr shift differential
