Job Title: Press Supervisor

Employment Type: Full Time

Department: Press Department

Reports To: Production Manager

Back-up: Press Supervisor Backup

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:30pm – 5:30am

Location: TPT Plant

FLSA: Hourly

Overall Focus:

The Shift Supervisor is a full-time supervisory position responsible for following a schedule and team building. Must be fluent with Office programs such as Excel and Word, and possess superb communication skills (oral, verbal, and written). Responsibilities include tracking and reporting time and attendance daily, mentoring, coaching, leading, supervising, and disciplining a shift of usually greater than 20 employees. The Shift Supervisor must perform periodic employee reviews, attend weekly meetings, and periodic training, some of which may be held at off-site locations. The Shift Supervisor should be mechanically inclined and able to problem solve and lead others in a fast-paced work environment. The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for maintaining smooth production flows on all lines while safely producing a high-quality product efficiently. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive of every job function; all employees shall perform as directed by their supervisor or management team.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Fill out shift reports and track and inform others of shift performance

• Education/Training/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred
