Job summary

Hapman in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Press Brake & Roll Operator for the 3rd shift. You will ensure quality, productivity, safety, and housekeeping while operating press brakes and rolls on carbon and stainless steel per prints, and setting up tooling.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in manufacturing, can read blueprints, operate an overhead crane and forklift, and perform routine maintenance. Experience with Laser/Shear/rolling is a plus, with commitment to continuous improvement and on-time

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating press brake equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret materials lists.
• Two to three years in manufacturing environment.

• Perform equipment maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow work instructions and work effectively without supervision.
• Help in the saw area as required.
• Be familiar with construction and operation of shop equipment and maintain it.
