Job summary

Mittera is seeking entry-level Press Assistants to join the Press Department. This role supports crew by stacking/bundling products and assisting on web-fed offset presses. 1st and 3rd shift options are available, with opportunities to advance into skilled roles as you gain experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/office experience preferred.
• Able to read work instructions and business memos.
• Good communication with all levels of the organization.
• Comfort with basic math and problem solving.
• Able to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stack and palletize printed products off the press.
• Stage stacker equipment to meet job requirements.
• Pack boxes according to load tickets for shipping.
• Check printed product quality for defects.
• Assist press team during make-ready
• Keep press areas clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
