Mittera is seeking Press Assistants for all shifts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This entry-level role provides support within the Press Department, including stacking, packaging for shipping, and assisting with inline finishing operations. Opportunities exist to advance into skilled press roles.

Responsibilities include aiding the press team during make-ready, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring supplies are stocked. Strong reading and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing/office experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions/memos.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.
• Basic math for measurements and quick problem solving.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.

Responsibilities

• Uniformly jog and hand-palletize printed products off the press equipment.
• Stage stacker equipment to meet current job requirements.
• Pack boxes according to load tickets and place them for shipping.
• Check printed product for quality defects.
• Assist press team during make-ready with cleaning and setup tasks.
• Keep press areas clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
