Job summary

Altium Packaging in Dallas, TX is seeking a fully competent Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment and facility. You will follow GMPs and safety standards while keeping equipment in optimal condition.

Responsibilities include installing, adjusting and repairing blow mold lines, ducts, hoses, valves and pumps; performing mold changes and welding/fabrication as needed; troubleshooting root

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Preferred: 2+ years with extrusion blow molding machines.
• OSHA forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses, valves and pumps.
• Weld, fabricate and repair machines; troubleshoot root problems.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and GMPs.
• Coordinate with leads and supervisors on tasks and priorities.
