Job summary

Zinpro Corporation is seeking a Plant Operator to manufacture products per production specs, manage equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role requires operating complex machinery, handling physically demanding tasks, and working under supervision in a Zinpro plant environment.

You will work a 40-hour week with occasional overtime on the third shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Mon–Fri). Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, vacation, and competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Effective communication with coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Controls, operates, and maintains production machinery for Zinpro products.
• Oversee operations to ensure quality and conformity to standards.
• Stock and sort product for packaging and replenish supplies.
• Implement safety improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Handle lifting and transport of product and operate miscellaneous equipment.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehousing tasks.
• Identify nonconforming materials and disposition appropriately.
• Participate in improving production methods and equipment performance.
• Receive work orders and complete assignments in a timely manner.
