Job summary

Apex Tool Group is hiring a 3rd-Shift Panel Bender Operator in Jonesboro, AR. Work hours are 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

The role includes setting up and operating a panel bender, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and quality inspections to ensure product standards are met. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
• Able to read calipers and tape measures to 1/32".
• Overtime work (including Saturdays) as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate panel bender to support production.
• Set up and changeover machines, load and edit programs, and set machine parameters.
• Install and align tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify problems with tooling and machine adjustments.
• Maintain quality standards, inspecting products and adjusting machines to specs.
• Perform first piece inspections and verify with fixed gauges and prints.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
• Move materials within the work area.
• Adhere to policies to produce a quality product/service and report non-conforming materials.
• Report unusual conditions to lead or supervisor.
• Follow all safety rules and keep area clean and orderly.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
