Job summary

King’s Hawaiian is seeking a Palletizer in Torrance, CA to prepare finished product distribution and stack cases on pallets. The role requires attention to accuracy, loading, labeling and inventory entry while maintaining GMP and safety standards.

You will work with conveyors, inspect products, wrap pallets and ensure proper case counts. Overtime may be required to meet production needs in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English for safety and QA documents.
• Basic math skills for counting and measurements.
• Troubleshoot, anticipate and correct problems in plant operations.
• Computer literacy; SAP and RFGen experience.
• Operate manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Forklift/electric pallet jack/manlift certification required.
• Follow safety regulations and GMPs; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stack product cases on pallets.
• Verify carton weight and case count before palletizing.
• Inspect products for damage or conformance to specs.
• Move pallets using pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Secure pallets with shrink wrap and print Handling Unit labels.
• Record pallet counts and cases produced on logs.
• Assist packaging helpers and train new staff as needed.
• Maintain safety and sanitation, report hazards to foreman.
• Support quality and food safety objectives in the department.
