Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Packaging Operator I for the 3rd shift (Mon-Thurs, 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM). You will package a variety of products to customer specs, perform quality checks, and complete paperwork accurately.

We value punctuality, safety, and attention to detail. You will work in a fast-paced environment, loading machines, labeling, boxing, and participating in safety programs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math accurately.
• Attention to safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review Work Orders to determine packaging requirements.
• Visually inspect product for defects and transfer defective items.
• Manually weigh and count product.
• Load product into packaging machines and monitor operation.
• Unload and visually inspect packaged product for quality.
• Place packaged product into boxes and apply labels.
• Accurately complete departmental paperwork.
