The Hillman Group is hiring a Packaging Operator for the 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, possible overtime). Base rate is $15.25 per hour. You will package a variety of products according to customer specifications and support quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, basic reading/writing/math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Attendance, safety, and accurate work are essential.

Qualificações

Job Summary

Position:Packaging Operator

Schedule:1st Shift - Monday - Thursday - 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)

Base Rate:$15.25/Hour

Packaging a variety of products according to customer specifications.

Essential Job Functions *

• Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.
• Manual weighing and counting of product.
• Loads product into packaging machines, Monitors machines for proper function.
• Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Places packaged product into boxes. Applies identification labels to boxes.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Packaging - Bagging: Fast-paced up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required. May participate in HCP.

Packaging - Hand: Light, lifting up to 50 lbs.
