Job Summary

The packaging Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of McKee Foods products. The operator will set up machines, monitor packaging processes, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards. This role involves working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment and requires close attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety efficiency.

• Sets up and operates packaging and related equipment monitors and maintains appropriate settings to ensure efficient and accurate runs while keeping waste to a minimum and ensuring product purity
• Ensures that product is properly wrapped and packaged while maintaining quality standards and product flow
• Conducts startups, shutdowns, and changeovers as needed
• Enters measurement data and report information into the computer system accurately, analyzing information, maintaining equipment (preventative maintenance), keeping work areas clean and equipment clean
• Communicates with other shifts regarding the job
• Performs other duties as required

Pay; Location; Schedule

Pay $21.87- $23.25 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Schedule 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.); Other days and hours as needed. Location Plant 5, Line 502 10260 McKee Road, Collegedale TN 37315.
