Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Quality/Operations Technician for the 3rd shift in our Prepared Foods Division in the United States. You will perform physical and visual inspections of products and systems, document results, and help ensure safety and quality across operations.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree (preferred) with 2+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Word (SAP knowledge is a plus).

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong organization, verbal, and written skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Word; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, document results accurately, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure personal and food safety, including record-keeping, reviewing pre-op paperwork, and supporting HACCP, SQF, and other food safety protocols.
• Support the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by gathering data and maintaining dashboards.
• Take inventories, monitor inspection lots, and assist employees and supervisors in the system.
• Provide and monitor operations workflow through the design of workflows and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between plant leadership and the workforce to communicate processes and results.
• Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
• Work as a team to cover vacations.
