Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Molding Operator to join a brand-new facility and work the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM). You will set up and operate molding machines, perform in-process quality checks, and maintain equipment with a focus on safety and Lean/5S culture.

We require a minimum of 1 year molding experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; experience with engineered plastics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year molding experience.
• Experience with engineered plastics preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to set up procedures that create a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate one or more molding machines for forming/sealing molded parts.
• Perform in-process checks to meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Support Lean and 5S culture company-wide.
• May run experimentally developed jobs when methods are not yet established.
