Job summary

Aeroflex USA, Inc is hiring for a 3rd Shift Mill Operator in Sweetwater, TN. The role supports milling, blending and packaging operations, with responsibilities across extrusion to QC holding area.

The ideal candidate can work in a team, meet physical requirements (up to 40 pounds), and be reliable and dependable in a non-climate controlled environment. Training on day shift, then 3rd shift schedule 9PM-7AM Sun/Wed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 40 pounds and long shifts.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Milling, compounding (compounds), batch-off, and batch delivering.
• Rotation of tasks within the milling team per supervisor guidance.
• Support packaging flow from extrusion to QC holding area.

Job purpose:

Mill crews must have the capabilities to perform the essential job functions of the above tasks. Each task will be performed rotationally by the milling team in accordance with written and/or verbal agreement among mill Process Control Technician and Supervisor.

To ensure a smooth transition of product from extrusion, through packaging, to the QC holding area. To provide all the tools and materials for packaging team members to perform their job duties. To ensure all support equipment of the packaging process is set-up per customer requirement and operational at each changeover. .
