Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and shop orders to determine setup and sequence.
• Forklift license required in some departments; within 3 months eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brakes, shears and presses to form metal parts.
• Read blueprints, position tooling, and adjust machine settings.
• Inspect parts and document deviations from specs.
• Train new or existing employees when needed.
• Comply with safety and environmental rules; wear PPE.
