Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Technician for the 3rd shift (Tuesday–Saturday).

You will monitor and maintain production equipment on the floor, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot high-speed filling and packaging lines to support daily production goals. You will keep logs per SOP and cGMP, coordinate with Operations and Engineering, and participate in trainings and changeovers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years maintenance experience on high-speed equipment.
• Experience in corrective and preventive maintenance and spare parts systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs and manuals; perform precise measurements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
• Ability to document routines accurately and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs high-speed filling and packaging equipment.
• Maintains equipment maintenance logs per SOP and cGMP guidelines.
• Completes corrective and preventive work orders.
• Performs set-ups or changeovers for production schedules.
• Advises supervision on tools, materials and parts needed.
• Collaborates with Maintenance, Operations & Engineering to meet goals.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Trains to maintain gowning status and works with OEMs/contractors.
