Job summary

Doumak, Inc. in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Mechanical Technician-Electro for the 3rd shift (11 pm – 7 am). The role focuses on electrical maintenance of production equipment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on bagging machines, conveyors, and related systems.

The position offers an hourly rate of $33.55 with overtime possible. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (vocational training a plus), strong electrical skills, ability to read blueprints, and willingness

Qualifications

Must have strong electrical maintenance skills and be able to read blueprints and schematics.
Experience with 3-phase motors, VFDs, controls, and troubleshooting is required.
Must supply own hand tools and be able to use power tools safely.

Responsibilities

Support the Production Department to manufacture safe, quality products.
Respond to repair requests on production machinery and building equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and perform repairs to return equipment to running condition.
Work from drawings and instructions to perform tasks and adjustments.
Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and assist with installations and upgrades.
