Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company is seeking a Material Handler to support its Boonville operations. The role involves operating various material handling equipment, unloading materials, stocking inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation.

The candidate will work third shift from 11pm to 7am, and must be comfortable with physical tasks and safety procedures. English fluency and basic computer skills are required; forklift certification is a plus or can be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Sit-Down Forklift experience required.
• Forklift certification a plus or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• One or more years of experience as warehouse clerk preferred.
• Fluency in English required, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer literacy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE including Electric Pallet Jacks, forklifts, stand-up reach trucks and sit-down swing reach trucks.
• Unload inbound shipments and warehouse materials for production lines.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform daily cycle counts.
• Complete paperwork related to material movements in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Assist other areas to support a team-based operation.
