Job summary

Penguin Random House is hiring for Material Handlers on the 3rd Shift in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The role runs Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am and is onsite at our distribution center, supporting picking, packing and movement of inventory.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record.
• Work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Must adhere to all established safety precautions; health and safety of employees is critical.
• Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Handling full carton stock to fill customer orders or replenish inventory.
• Moving full pallet inventory to and from specified areas.
• Ability to operate low-lift pallet jack.
