Job summary

NIBCO Inc. in Goshen, IN is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to move and stage materials, inspect incoming raw materials, and support production lines. You will operate warehouse equipment, scan labels, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience operating warehouse equipment and following safety protocols.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and setup documents.
• Attention to detail in labeling, counting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Move and supply materials (pallets, boxes, product) to team members as needed.
• Remove finished goods and WIP from machines and place in holding areas.
• Perform stretch wrapping and load finished goods into trucks as required.
• Inspect and unload raw materials from bulk trucks and place into silos.
• Ensure material hoppers are clean and ready for material line changes.
• Mark containers with proper identification for movement or disposition.
• Weigh/count and document scrap and WIP information accurately.
• Perform minor maintenance on hopper loading systems and related equipment.
• Scan pallet labels to update production tracking systems.
• Report safety hazards, unsafe conditions, accidents, or problems to supervision.
• Operate IQ system and use it for production tracking.
• Other duties assigned by team leader.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Move and supply materials (pallets, boxes, product, ect.) to team members as needed.
• Remove finished good and work-in-process materials from machines or packaging stations and move to designated holding areas.
• Perform the stretch wrapping operation and put-away process for all finished good products in warehouse staging area, or load in truck.
• Inspect and unload raw materials from bulk trucks or other containers into silos.
• Ensure that the material hoppers are clean and able to switch material lines for all molding machines.
• Mark material containers with proper identification (type, style, number, etc.), for movement or disposition.
• Accurately weigh/count and provide documentation for scrap and WIP information.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs to hopper loading systems, central grinding system, silos, surge bins, press-side grinders, and write work orders as needed.
• Scan pallet labels to update FGPS with FG Production
• Reports all safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, accidents, or other problems to supervision.
• Knowledge of IQ system.
• Any job-related duties as assigned by your team leader.

EXPERIENCE:

• Powered Industrial Vehicle license (training available upon request)
