Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Assembly Technician in Shakopee, MN to contribute to our manufacturing operations. You will assemble components according to SOPs, prep materials for daily builds, set up equipment, and document production steps.

Candidates should have basic math and reading/writing skills, good communication, the ability to operate machinery, and a willingness to learn blueprints. 1–2 years in manufacturing and a high school diploma are preferred.

Position Summary

Demonstrates proficiency and regularly performs assembly duties for large, small, and long test balls, municipal balls, tubes and inserts, rubber cutters, PET Foam, wall drains, PVC drains, kitting, drain kit packaging, or other specialty products.

Knowledge and Experience

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.

• Ability to read blueprints or ability and willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• One (1) to two (2) years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Education and Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation Range for the Position

$15.71 - $20.03 - $24.35 USD

Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
