Job summary

ITW Permatex in Solon, Ohio, seeks a Manufacturing Manager (3rd Shift) to lead daily production, safety, quality, and delivery targets across assigned areas.

You will develop hourly teams, drive continuous improvement using 5S and lean methods, and partner with Maintenance, EHS and Quality to boost equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Engineering.
• 3–5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to motivate, develop and engage teams.
• Knowledge of production methods, resource allocation, and equipment coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
• Preferred: ERP systems knowledge; safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead third shift manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets.
• Foster a safety-first culture by following EHSQ requirements and improvements.
• Direct, develop, and engage hourly production team members with accountability.
• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to meet demand and metrics.
• Drive 5S and lean methods to improve safety, cost, quality and performance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, EHS, and Quality to improve equipment reliability and housekeeping.
