You will recommend time standards, assist with casting design, and implement safety/ergonomic improvements while collaborating with supervision and shop teams. Responsibilities include analyzing work procedures, developing time and production standards, updating routing and tooling, training production personnel, and driving 6S

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies or related field and 2–4 years of experience.
• Develop time standards and process improvements for manufacturing.
• Implement safety and ergonomic improvements with supervision.
• Familiarity with ISO/EIA CNC programming and 6S.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Analyze work procedures to determine time and motion requirements.
• Establish time and production standards for costing and labor reporting.
• Change routing sequences due to machine/design changes and quality improvements.
• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues.
• Assist in training production personnel.
• Propose safety and ergonomic improvements.
• Develop process improvement projects with paybacks.
• Estimate costs of products or projects.
• Create and prove out ISO/EIA CNC programs.
• Maintain the 6S program throughout the shop.
• Coordinate setup times with video monitoring.
• Provide backup supervision as needed.
• Support productivity, safety and ergonomics enhancements.
