Job summary

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. in Dubuque, IA is seeking a machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools. The role requires loading/unloading production equipment, reading blueprints, and using calipers and gauges to verify parts meet quality standards.

Qualified applicants will assemble, test and pack a variety of manufacturing products. A retention bonus is offered and a strong benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills or machining centers.
• Ability to load and unload production equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand blueprint drawings and use calipers, gauges and other measuring devices to ensure quality.

This position will be responsible for setting up and operating both CNC and manual machine tools. Qualified applicants must have the ability to load and unload production equipment in a fast-paced work environment, read and understand blueprint drawings of parts and have the skills to utilize calipers, gauges and other measuring devices, to ensure parts meet quality standards. While also being able to assemble, test and, pack a variety of manufacturing products as required.

Wages start at $24.34 + $1.00 shift premium. $2,000 Retention Bonus!
