Job description

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines. Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment while accurately storing, shipping, and receiving products, meeting the company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

Responsibilities include:

1. Trash/Recycling removal – empty and maintain DC and outside break areas.
2. Stock Parcel Box area and organize/sort pallet area, retrieve pallets from end caps.
3. Assist with corrugated supplies: inventory and put away of ordered items.
4. Perform general maintenance duties: housekeeping, cleaning, and organizing of specified areas.
5. Perform tasks as directed by Supervisor and/or Lead.
6. Meet standards of safety, security, and productivity.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Ability to work 3rd Shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with potential for overtime.
2. Ability to operate RR, RC, TR, SP, EPJ, Battery Extractor, and Scissor Lift or willingness to learn.
3. Comfortable working at heights, required for Scissor Lift and SP operation.
4. Mechanical aptitude; ability to use hand tools is helpful.
5. Must follow safe and best practices.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.
7. Ability to read, perform basic math, and write legibly.
8. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work at elevated heights.
9. Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently, up to 50 pounds occasionally.
10. Dependability with good attendance, willingness to work overtime.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
