Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician L1 for the 3rd shift in Waupaca, WI. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting.

You will also maintain facility grounds, fabricate repair parts, manage inventory, and support operations as needed. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years in maintenance, with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with building maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting, groundskeeping).
• Experience providing routine preventive maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Previous steel or metal shop experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Completes required preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs all manufacturing equipment (Drilling machines, paint line, presses, forklifts etc.).
• Performs routine electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment.
• Performs general maintenance and repairs of facility and grounds (including basic carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, groundskeeping etc.).
• Inspects all building locations, and schedules repairs.
• Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level.
• Uses tape measure, caliper, micrometer and other measuring tools to perform tasks accordingly.
• Supports operations as needed.
