Job summary

Southern Champion Tray, LP is seeking a Class A Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our Chattanooga, TN facility. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, piping, and electrical systems to ensure continuous production while minimizing downtime and protecting asset life.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school is required, with 3+ years of related manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to read and understand English documents and communicate in English.
• Experience with repairing major manufacturing equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair machinery, piping, and minor electrical/electronic systems to keep production running.
• Minimize downtime and protect the plant's capital assets through proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate with Plant Supervisors and Operators to diagnose issues and provide timely repair support.
• Schedule work to maximize task completion with minimum disruption to production.
• Follow safety procedures and 5S standards and mentor others as needed.
