Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to support molding and assembly equipment. This role focuses on equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documenting repairs to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months of related experience/training.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and troubleshoot molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and assembly equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions using appropriate test equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on injection molding and assembly equipment.
• Document repairs using the Maintenance Work Order System.
• Participate in problem-solving and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and housekeeping in maintenance areas.
• Maintain compressed air systems and machine water towers.
• Support team coverage for maintenance responsibilities across off-shifts (24-hour on-call).
• Respond to emergency issues affecting production or facility operations after hours.
• Perform electrical work using proper Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Order repair components and supplies as needed.
• Maintain organized inventory of components (physical and electronic).
• Participate in weekly safety meetings with the maintenance team.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform other routine duties related to molding machinery and departmental support.
