Job summary

Rittal LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Urbana, OH. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant machinery and facility systems to support safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment setup, and supporting safety programs. Opportunities for growth exist within a global enclosures leader and a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Experience with maintenance and fabrication equipment preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
• Complete corrective maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Set up and operate welders, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Support and participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization throughout the facility.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify equipment issues and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
