Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to provide skilled maintenance support for plant operations on a 3rd shift. You will install, repair, and service machinery; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues; and perform preventive maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Minimum 3+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC knowledge, and ability to read diagrams. Forklift inspections and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

Education – Associates or Technical Degree (preferred).
3+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
Diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience.
Experience in a high-speed industrial work environment.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow manufacturer’s specifications and direction.
Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
Supply hand tools.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and service machinery and equipment support systems.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; run tests, isolate problems, remove/replace failed components.
Maintain production lines by performing predictive and preventive maintenance tasks.
Understand, record, and communicate system problems and solutions.
May operate and perform inspections on forklifts.
Record inspection requirements and data on provided forms.
