Astemo, Ltd. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician II on the 3rd shift to help keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime and protect quality. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of related experience, and familiarity with Windows, Excel, and basic PLC/robot concepts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties.
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machines.
• Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems.
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters.
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions

Position Summary:

As a Machine Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of Astemo's machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality. This Technician would focus on Machine Maintenance on 3rd Shift.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC

Preferred Qualifications:

• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Robot teaching and programming experience
