Job summary

Miller’s Textile Services, Inc. is hiring a full-time 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to support the 4-10 schedule in Wapakoneta, OH. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment and assist with facility upkeep during 6:30 pm–5:00 am, Monday through Thursday.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, the ability to read and follow maintenance logs, and collaboration with the production team to improve efficiency. We value hands-on training and internal promotion.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical school/trade certification is a plus; related college degree a bonus.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Must be able to climb, kneel, crouch, stand, walk and use hands for equipment work.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Good communication and people skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment
• Preventive maintenance and cleaning of production equipment
• Ensure maintenance checklists and logs are completed accurately and timely
• Ensure that building and grounds are maintained
• Assists outside contractors with equipment installs/repairs as necessary
• Works with production team to improve production efficiencies
• Other related duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Production teams
