Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States is looking for a Production Set-up Mechanic to set up, calibrate and repair high-volume filling and packaging machinery on the 3rd shift. You will record maintenance in Cal PM and communicate line performance at daily huddles.

Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, a good grasp of mechanical, pneumatic and basic electronic control systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic fluidic and basic electronic control systems.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
• Ability to follow and adhere to written work instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working autonomously or in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, calibrating and repairing high volume filling and packaging machinery.
• Assisting in resolving routine manufacturing equipment related problems affecting daily operations.
• Recording maintenance activities in Cal PM software application.
• Communicating line performance at daily huddles.
