Job summary

Viking Forge in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to promptly respond to equipment needs, perform checks, and repair duties in a fast-paced forging environment. You will read OEM manuals, use hand tools, and maintain documentation while supporting safe, reliable production.

Reports to Maintenance Supervisor with on-the-job training provided. Base pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, with a non-exempt, full-time role and relocation not covered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industrial maintenance in two or more fields.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Experience operating industrial equipment in a forging/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment needs on a priority basis during manufacturing.
• Clean, organize and maintain work area (inclusive of inventory and maintenance parts storage).
• Perform scheduled equipment checks and repairs.
• Read and understand OEM manuals and schematics.
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Process necessary documentation.
• Operate tow motor.
• On-the-job training provided.
