Job summary

Copperweld is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at Fayetteville, TN. You will safely perform diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to support Copperweld’s goals.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree, 3+ years in industrial electrical or maintenance tech, and hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and CAD drawings. Shift: Sun night–Fri morning, 11:00p–7:00a.

Qualifications

• The multi-craft maintenance technician performs diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Requires a two-year technical degree in Maintenance Mechanics or Industrial Maintenance Technology.
• Preferred experience includes 3+ years as Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic units, drives and industrial equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment; decide when to replace parts.
• Read wiring diagrams and electrical specifications; work with PLCs.
