Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant for our Ravenna, OH facility. You will assist in repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.

As part of the industrial maintenance team, you will help repair, modify, or fabricate parts. A valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy are required; experience in related trades is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to visually analyze blueprints and shop drawings.
• Math, reading and writing skills required; ability to solve trade-related problems.
• Experience in mechanical trades (welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam, hydraulics) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Support senior maintenance techs in repairing or fabricating parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain attendance; lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
