Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant for our Ravenna, OH facility. You will assist in repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.

As part of the industrial maintenance team, you will help repair, modify, or fabricate parts. A valid driver’s license and basic computer literacy are required; experience in related trades is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to visually analyze blueprints and shop drawings.
• Math, reading and writing skills required; ability to solve trade-related problems.
• Experience in mechanical trades (welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam, hydraulics) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; computer literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Support senior maintenance techs in repairing or fabricating parts.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain attendance; lift up to 100 pounds as needed.

NOVO Health Services is accepting applications for a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant at our Healthcare facility located in Ravenna, OH.

This position is responsible for assisting in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment.

The successful candidates will be responsible in assisting our industrial maintenance techs to repair, modify or make new parts for any mechanical equipment.

Must be able to visually analyze blueprints, shop drawings and work out mathematical problems pertaining to each trade. Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam and hydraulics preferred. Math, reading and writing skills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics and welding skills, good attendance, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching, manual dexterity required. Valid driver's license is required. Computer literacy is preferred.

3rd shift works 10pm-6am, Sunday-Saturday on a rotating day off schedule with overtime as needed. (until further notice OT is paid at DOUBLE rate for all hours over 40/week).
