Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee 1st-3rd shift maintenance teams, including mechanics, electricians, and plumbers. You will schedule, assign tasks, track work orders in CMMS, and act as the technical resource on shift to resolve issues with minimal downtime.

With 8 years of relevant experience, strong leadership, and proficiency in MS Office, you will drive safety and reliability while coordinating with manufacturing, packaging, and distribution to meet targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8 years’ experience as a technician, mechanic, or field service engineer, or commensurate combination of higher education and work experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Regularly collaborate with mechanics, technicians, vendors, contractors, departmental managers, and engineers on maintenance and other relevant matters.
• Interface with internal customers (manufacturing, packaging, distribution, etc.) regularly to ensure clear and concise communication between departments.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues as they arise and establish team procedures for the most common situations.
• Review, analyze, and enter all work order requests and assign to appropriate personnel.
• Review and ensure all work orders are entered into the CMMS. Keep preventative maintenance assignments current.
• Review assigned projects and assign personnel accordingly.
• Assure all necessary tools and materials are available for all maintenance and engineering projects.
