Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team across 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in a high-volume manufacturing environment in California. You will schedule technicians, assign work orders, and act as the technical resource for on-shift issues not resolved to expectations.

The role includes coaching staff, ensuring safety and quality standards, and partnering with operations to meet production goals. Strong leadership and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8 years’ experience as a technician, mechanic, or field service engineer, or commensurate combination of higher education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanics, technicians, vendors, contractors, and engineers on maintenance and related matters.
• Interface with internal customers to ensure clear communication between departments.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and establish procedures for common situations.
• Review, analyze, and assign all work order requests to personnel.
• Manage CMMS entries and keep preventative maintenance assignments current.
• Coordinate projects with departments and personnel; ensure availability of tools and materials.
• Respond to machine failures and coordinate parts and personnel for repairs.
• Monitor operating conditions of major systems and units.
• Maintain records of direct reports (attendance, performance, development).
• Investigate incidents and complete documentation.
