Job summary

Golden State Foods in Conyers, GA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support day-to-day operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial food production equipment on the 3rd shift. You will help keep high-speed packaging and processing lines running safely.

The role requires hands-on skills in PLCs, electrical and mechanical repair, and a focus on safety. A strong team player who can respond quickly to breakdowns will thrive in this fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• PLC/motor controls experience or training.
• Industrial electrical knowledge.
• Welding and mechanical repair abilities.
• Reading electrical diagrams, blueprints, and drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in hot, wet, noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and support systems.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Perform repairs using power tools, welding equipment, test meters, and hand tools.
• Work with PLCs, motor circuits, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical controls.
• Dismantle, inspect, and replace parts on packaging lines, conveyors, and pumps.
