Job summary

Nebraska Ag Connection is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic C to join our Schuyler, NE facility. This full-time role supports the maintenance of heavy machinery, preventive maintenance routines, and equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime and ensure process continuity.

The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and follow instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality in a food-related production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects.
• Previous experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery (including forklift) or computer programs.
• Use a variety of tools and retrieve parts.
• Conduct daily set-up of area.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Ensure safety, food safety and quality.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
