Job summary

Oberto Snacks, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to keep lines running after hours. You’ll troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work in the CMMS system.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance, including food manufacturing, with strong electrical/mechanical skills and knowledge of LOTO and PLCs. Eligible for benefits, with a shift differential and a $500 hiring bonus after 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year in food manufacturing or related industrial setting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of PLC wiring and ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and vacuum issues.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Document work in CMMS.
• Support machine startups and readiness per schedule.
• Fabricate components using various tools when needed.
• Collaborate with production to minimize downtime.
