Job summary

Clow Valve Company in Iowa is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Janitor. The role runs 7:30pm-6:00am with a base wage of $26.18 per hour plus a $1.20/hour shift differential. Health insurance becomes available after a 120-day probationary period.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitation, waste disposal, restroom/break area upkeep, and ensuring a safe, debris-free workspace. Some minor maintenance tasks and inventory of cleaning supplies may be required.

Qualifications

• Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
• Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
• Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside
• Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in a manufacturing facility
• Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors,
• Disposing of waste
• Cleaning restrooms and break areas
• Ensuring workspaces remain safe and free of debris.
• The janitor may also assist with minor maintenance tasks and inventory of cleaning supplies.
