Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a maintenance technician for its Georgia facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment while adhering to Tyson policies and safety standards.

You will be required to perform physically demanding tasks, read and complete on-the-job paperwork, and communicate across all management levels. Shifts are 3rd shift, with pay ranging from $20.55 to $29.55 per hour.

Qualifications

• 6 months maintenance experience or apprenticeship/technical school equivalent.
• Industrial maintenance or mechanical certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and write and complete on-the-job paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment and assets while upholding Tyson policies and safety.
• Work in a cold, damp, or hot environment and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting up to 70 pounds).
• Communicate effectively across management levels and document work accurately.
