Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking maintenance technicians to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across all production areas of our pork processing plant in Iowa. The role covers mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with welding and basic electrical work as needed.

Candidates must be able to read manuals, complete training, and work the C Shift with overtime as required. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of on-the-job training, plus experience

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; 1 year on-the-job training.
• Must have 1 year experience and/or education in at least two maintenance areas such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, welding, or related.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Must communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all levels of staff.
• Must be able to read and understand manuals and document work performed.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment across production areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, trolley systems, rendering equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Weld and perform basic electrical work as needed.
• Read manuals and complete training modules; document work on scheduling sheets.
• Lift up to 60 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights or in hot/damp environments.
