Job summary

Tyson Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair plant equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, setting up and breaking down production line machinery, and documenting activities in SAP.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience within the last 12 months or US-based maintenance certification; willingness to work overtime and all shifts

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience within the last 12 months with the same employer.
• US-based certification related to maintenance will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Willing to work all shifts, overtime and weekends if required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours.
• Must read and write as required and complete required training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment to ensure continuous production.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery as needed.
• Complete computerized training programs and document maintenance in SAP.
• Read schematics and use math for machinery calculations and capacities.
