Tyson Foods in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of machinery and systems, support engineering and plant personnel in specifying and installing integrated controls, and ensure food safety, quality, and compliance. The role covers electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

This 2nd shift position (2:30pm–11:30pm) requires weekend/overtime availability, and pays about $39.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electrical/mechanical or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC systems and microprocessors.
• Proficient with Windows-based software (Excel/Word) and SAP Maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of staff and management.
