Job summary

Wilson Tool Canada is seeking a skilled Machinist to operate FMG Soft side machines I250, J200, and a Mori DMV 110 in a full-time production environment. You will set up fixtures, load parts, monitor processes, and inspect finished components to ensure they meet specifications. The role requires strong math, blueprints reading, and the ability to adapt to different machines and workloads.

Full-time; 3rd shift (11:00pm – 7:00am) with a pay scale of $29.58/hr. - $37.31/hr.

Qualifications

Two years of machining experience
Strong mechanical and technical abilities/experience
Ability to apply algebra, geometry, and trigonometry in practical applications
Ability to edit programs and set up multiple styles of machines; understanding of G&M Codes
Be willing to move among all cell machines as workload demands
Read technical data such as blueprints and routings
Demonstrated ability to use advanced measuring tools
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key, and internet navigation

Responsibilities

Operate machines according to process: FMG Soft side I250, J200, Mori DMV 110
Inspect and set up machines manually or with hand tools; change fixtures
Load pieces, set dials, switches, and programs; monitor and prepare for next piece
Inspect finished parts and ensure quality; move to next machine as needed
Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
